An early start for the
coach down to Bristol to meet City's Under-18s was probably what
accounted for the team's slow start.
City hit Tottenham on a breakaway and went a goal up in the seventh
minute, then went looking to add to their advantage with a couple of
opportunities from dead ball situations. Spurs took a while to get
going, but towards the end of the half got some spells of possession and
took the pattern of play into the second half when they got an early
goal to level the score. Alex Pritchard put in a right wing
free-kick and Jesse Waller-Lassen got on the end of it at the far post
to score in the 47th minute.
Spurs went ahead soon after when Jack Munns
made a run into the box and fed the ball to Cameron Lancaster, but the
striker's shot was kept out by a block and fortunately for Spurs, it
dropped to Massimo Luongo, who dispatched the ball past the keeper to
make it 2-1.
There were chances for Spurs to add to
the score on a couple of occasions and City had one opportunity to
equalise form a late corner, but Spurs held out to take the win.

Tottenham's Under-18s
battled back from being 1-3 down to draw 3-3 at Spurs Lodge.
City had an experienced and physically stronger
side out and this showed when Spurs went from leading 1-0 to going 1-3
behind. Jesse Waller Lassen was well set up by Kevin Stewart in
the eighth minute to shoot home at the far post for Spurs, but as the
half drew on Bristol City became more dominant and got three quick goals
in a fifteen minute spell before half-time. Kapika scored from
Bobby Reid's cross in the 20th minute, Joe Lennox latched onto a long
ball and raced away to score the second, with Aaron Holloway scoring a
similar goal after taking the ball around the keeper.
A goal within ten minutes of the restart saw
Jack Munns create a tap-in for Kudus Oyenuga and with Tottenham playing
a more confident passing game in the second half, it could have been 3-3
when Alex Pritchard was fouled in the box, but Oyenuga's spot-kick was
touched onto the post by keeper Lewis Carey. However, it was left
to Laste Dombaxe to score a late equaliser ten minutes from time with a
close range finish to earn Tottenham a point.

Early chances went begging
before Tottenham got their scoring boots on to beat Bristol City 4-0 at
Spurs Lodge in the FA Premier Academy League.
Tom Carroll was on the spot to net in the 25th
minute after Paul Jose M'Poku's shot was saved by the City keeper and
Carroll made it 2-0 by the break, with his shot going in off the bar
after good play between M'Poku, Harry Kane and Jake Nicholson.
A long ball out of defence by Calum Butcher put
Kudus Oyenuga away and the striker put the ball into the net from an
acute angle after pressuring the Robin's central defender in the 50th
minute. Jordan Archer had to make a couple of very good stops in
the Spurs goal, but as Tottenham continued to dominate, Harry Kane was
felled in the box and Tom Carroll stepped up to take the penalty to grab
his hat-trick, but the City goalkeeper saved his spot-kick.
However, the referee deemed that he had moved too early and the re-taken
penalty was successfully converted by Anton Blackwood in the 70th
minute.

Spurs Under-18s recorded
their fourth straight win with a convincing away victory over Bristol
City. An early goal by Kudus Oyenuga
got Tottenham off to a good start and Harry Kane hit a second on 25
minutes to make it 2-0.
Paul McBride added a third on 35 minutes after a pass from Paul Jose
Mpoku sent him through the Robins' defence.
Fifteen minutes into the second half, the home
side pulled a goal back, but having come off the bench, Jesse Waller
Lassen scored Tottenham's fourth goal fifteen minutes from time to round
off a 4-1 win over the Robins.

A break since the
last match did not stop the Spurs
Under-18s turning in a fine performance in
winning 5-0.
A goal from striker Jon
Obika on 25 minutes opened the scoring, with
a curling effort from the right side of the
box and the tally was doubled just before
the half-time interval when Kudos Oyenuga
put the Robins goalie under pressure from a
Ryan Mason corner and the ball dropped
kindly for Calum Butcher to tap in from
close range.
Just after the game
restarted for the second half, Oyenuga held
off defenders in a strong run and then
buried his low shot past the keeper to make
it 3-0. Spurs were awarded a penalty
when a City player handled and Ryan Mason
stepped up to take the spot-kick, but
missed, although he converted another
penalty when he was tripped and got up to
knock the ball home after 65 minutes.
With only s short time
remaining, Anthony Jack was first to react
to a loose ball in the area and finished
clinically to make the final score 5-0.

Tottenham
Under-18s trip to Bristol brought a game
full of goals and three points with a 5-3
win that takes the team to the top of the
table.
Spurs went into a 4-1
lead thanks to two goals each from Paul-Jose
M'poku and Kudos Oyenuga after going a goal
behind. M'poku scored from Andros
Townsend's corner and then Oyenuga gave
Tottenham the lead before he headed in his
second from M'puku's cross to make it 3-1.
Ryan Mason put M'poku away in the 55th
minute and he finished calmly, but a resurgence
in attacking from the home side saw them
bring it back to 4-3, before Ryan Mason put
the game beyond City's reach with a fifth
goal for Spurs, beating the keeper as he
went through the City defence.

A 3-1 home win
against Bristol City in the FA Academy
Premier League saw Spurs continue a good run
of results on a rain sodden pitch.
Andros Townsend scored
Tottenham's first goal on 20 minutes after
being set up by Kyle Fraser-Allen and a
measured finish saw the midfielder put the
ball into the roof of the net.
A
solo goal from Jon Obika made it 2-0 five
minutes later, when he made a run on the
right, cut inside two defenders and curled a
shot into the far corner past the keeper.
Chances came and
went for Spurs, but Bristol City got a goal
back and it was a close run thing in the
second half, as keeper
Oscar Jansson made two
fine saves to keep the visitors out on his
debut.
The
third Tottenham goal close to the end of the
game sealed the victory, with David
Hutton netting a far post finish, following
good work from Townsend.

Spurs bounced back from defeat in
the FA Youth Cup to record a good win against Bristol City.
A muddy pitch saw Spurs have to scrap out
a win against a determined City side. It was Tottenham who took
the lead, when Leigh Mills buried a header from a 10th minute corner and
Czech striker converted a spot-kick with 20 minutes remaining to edge
out City who got a goal back, but it wasn't enough for the home side.

Bristol City Under 18s held Tottenham's
Academy side to a goal-less draw at Spurs Lodge despite our team
having long periods of dominance in the FA Premier Academy League.
Spurs created a high number of chances
without taking them, but David
Hutton hit the underside of the bar and the ball bounced out.
Striker Tomas Pekhart forced the Bristol City goalkeeper into a
couple of saves, but there were not many clear scoring
opportunities. However, the match marked the first full
games of the season for Troy Archibald-Henville and Joe Martin
as Tottenham finally fielded a team of Under-18s for the first
time.

The Under-18 side stay in
second place in the FA Premier Academy League with a 1-1 draw at Bristol
City.
Jacques Maghoma put the ball in for
Terry Dixon after five minutes, but the striker could not get a firm
contact, but City opened the scoring on the half hour with a ball over
the top and David Button brought the striker down as he entered the
box. City converted the penalty to go ahead.
It was Matthew Wells who got the
equaliser just before half-time, when Maghoma put the ball across the
face of the goal and the midfielder got onto it at the far post to knock
it in.
The second half saw Spurs have a
couple of chances to take all three points, but City were dangerous on
the break and the draw was a fair result.

left Tottenham chasing the game. Spurs came back into the game and
