This
meeting at Gravesend and Northfleet FC ended in a 1-1 draw thanks to a
late goal from Emil Hallfredsson.
Having been put under pressure for a large part
of the first half, a young Spurs side were hit by a goal from the pacy
striker Walker, who beat Burch with a high shot from the edge of the box
after being released with a ball through the defence in the 66th minute.
Jamie O'Hara played a long pass from a deep position to find
Hallfredsson bursting through from the halfway line, holding off two
defenders and lobbing over the keeper to equalise with just four minutes
left.
While Rob Burch had to be at his best in the
first half with some very good saves, Daniel Hutchins had a header go
wide and another go in from David Hutton's cross, but the officials
ruled it out for offside. O'Hara's drive from 20 yards was well
turned aside by Rudolph and Burch replicated the save from a Weston
effort at the other end.
With time running out after Emil's equaliser,
Spurs nearly won it at the death when Jake Livermore broke into the area
and brought a diving save from the Charlton keeper.
