CRAWLEY TOWN

The early steps in the club's life were not easy as they really had to learn to be Crawley before they could walk.

Formed in 1896, Crawley Town played much of their early life in the Sussex leagues and went up into big time of the Metropolitan League as an amateur side in 1951.  After going through the leagues and into the non-league Conference, they finally attained promotion to the Football League on 9th April 2010 and have gone straight through League Two in their first season, where they have established themselves.
