Alasdair Beattie was a highly regarded physiotherapist who started with Spurs and moved onto other teams
Beattie did his medical training at the London Hospital at Whitechapel for four years and got a BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy in 1989. Was a general physiotherapist at the North Middlesex hospital and in 1991 he worked in out patients at Newham General Hospital specialising in sports, neck and back injuries.
Was at the Royal London Hospital
Sports Injury Clinic for a year before joining Spurs,
initially part time, working with the young players
training on Tuesday and Thursday, before being appointed
as full time assistant physiotherapist in April 1995.
