Height : - .m Weight : - - kgs Played for Sussex Schools and had a trial for England Schoolboys. Signed as an amateur for Spurs on 4th September 1961. Played in the Reserves, Eastern Counties ('A' team) and the South-East Counties (youth team) sides in the 1961-62 season. Signed professional on15th October 1962. Spent most of the 1962-63 season in the Metropolitan League (3rd XI). Made his debut and only first team game on 15th October 1966 at home v Blackpool in a 3-1 defeat. Won the Metropolitan League Championship in 1964-65 and the Football League Championship with the Reserve side in seasons 1966-67 and 1967-68. Appeared about 250 times at various levels at the club. Left Spurs to go to Reading in 1968 and played 63 times for the Biscuitmen in two years, then moved onto Notts. County where he turned out 113 times in five years there. Joined Mansfield Town as a non-contract player in 1975. After leaving the game, Brown served as a Sports Centre manager in Newark, Watford and Reading, before becoming Head of Leisure for Reading Borough Council from 1995 to 1999. Was Secretary of Reading Golf Club and was in the same position at Ham Manor Golf Club in Angmering, Sussex. NICKNAME :
