Dervite is the captain of the French Under-18 side and was immediately integrated into the Spurs XI side, scoring on his debut against Enfield Town in a 7-1 win. His first steps in competitive matches came in the Under-18 side, but he stepped up to the reserves and made such a good impression that Martin Jol gave him his first team debut against Port Vale on 08.11.06 in the League Cup. This was a little ahead of schedule, but Dervite played a fine game and almost scored the goal that went to Tom Huddlestone, whose free-kick sailed in with the French defender nearly getting a touch on it with his head.
Unfortunately, Dorian suffered a bad knee injury in a reserve team friendly in January 2007, which kept him out for the rest of the 2006-07 season, but a recovery saw him play regularly again and in January 2009, he spent a spell on loan at Southend United until the end of the season, being voted second in their Player of the Year poll.
The defender's name appeared on the Villarreal B squad list on their website quite a few weeks before it was finally announced on the Spurs official website that the Frenchman was joining the La Liga outfit after Tottenham did not retain his registration in 2010.
A day before the 2012-13 season began, Dorian signed for Charlton Athletic after being on trial with the South London club.
