Started his career at Spurs in the youth system, but made his name at Swindon Town, where he made 14 appearances for the Wiltshire club in League One.
Can play midfield or in defence, he left the league set-up and signed for Boreham Wood in 2005, then Bishops Stortford before linking up with Northwood. Made captain at the Middlesex club.
Signed for AFC Wimbledon in March 2006 and has been a regular starter for the club, either at full back or in midfield, as they reached the Conference South at the end of the 2007-08 season through the play-offs.
Luke returned to Boreham Wood in October 2009 on a loan, extended to January 2010 and then the deal was made permanent on 29th January 2010 for the player who now plays in midfield or defence.
