A youngster who was in the same junior group as Peter Crouch and Ledley King, Danny Heale didn't make it at the top level, but had a good non-league career.
Danny's father Bill had been a prolific goal-scorer in non-league for Concord angers in Essex and Danny emulated his achievements and went one better by holding the Essex Senior League goal-scoring record with 46 in one season.
Left to join up with the Essex club AFC Hornchurch, who swept to the treble with money pumped into the club by a benefactor, but when the money dried up Heale returned to Concord Rangers.
His ability to hit the net saw him earn a move to Canvey Island FC in 2010.
