An industrious midfielder, David Hutton was a rising star of the Academy side in 2008-09 before going out on loan to a League Two side to get more experience.
Named Player of the Tournament in the French youth tournament - Le Tournoi de Football de Talence - in May 2008, his driving play from wide in midfield pushed Spurs on and he scored a number of goals linking up with the attack. Was a regular in the reserve side during his one professional season, but in March 2009 David went on loan to Cheltenham Town until the end of the season to get some first team experience. Impressed in his time there, so much so that he joined the club on a permanent transfer at the end of the season, when Spurs released him on 1st June 2009, after trying his luck on trial at Exeter City and Wycombe Wanderers.
Was not kept on by the League One club in 2010, David had trials with Grimsby Town and then played at St. Albans City for a short while, but ended up playing for Jerez Industrial CF with the Glenn Hoddle Academy in 2011. Returned to England to play at Boreham Wood in late 2011.
