Under-16 and Under-17 US international midfielder who came to Tottenham and spent two years in the Academy before returning home to play his soccer in the States.
An energetic player, Brian showed that he could cope with the faster pace and more physical side of the game in England despite being slightly built.
As a youngster he went to the Marist School and played football for Concord Fire team that he was captain of and the Most Valuable Player in 2000-2001. Developed through the IMG Academy in Brandenton, Florida. Played at Varsity level, for the All-State select side and was the top scorer in Georgia schools football, before coming to Spurs. Unfortunately, he was not kept on by Spurs and despite having trials with Middlesbrough returned home.
Linked up with Vanderbilt, but when the team was disbanded there, he moved on to Georgetown and then Penn Athletic.
His father was Portuguese by birth but moved to London and had family in England, so Spurs were able to bring him over without him feeling too homesick.
