Alex Nairn was a member of the Spurs back-room staff and worked ina  couple of positions, finishing his time at the club as Assistant kit manager.

Was reserve team physiotherapist from 1990, until he was appointed as a kit man in the summer of 1992
 
In his early career, Alex had played for Maidstone United in the Athenian league making his debut at 16.  Spent three years as an amateur with QPR, where he won the Midweek league with them in 1953, before doing his National Service.  Played for the RAOC during his time in the Army.

Joined Yeiwsley playing semi-pro and then was with Slough Town for nine years before he retired at 37 and started coaching at Staines Town, who won the Anglo-Italian Cup in 1978.  He then became assistant manager at the club before moving to Kingstonian as first team coach and was then appointed manager of Hayes.
