Born on 20th October 1986 in Tooting, London, England.
Signed as a 14-year-old by Tottenham who paid
Charlton nearly half a million pounds for the England schoolboy
international on a five-year professional contract.
Played at all levels for England from
under-15s to under-18s and was selected for all the pre-season friendlies
under Jacques Santini at the start of the 2004-05 season, but his career
did not progress once Martin Jol took over and he got the last two years
of his contract paid off so that he could leave White Hart Lane.
Price joined Lewes in non-league football,
without payment, to try to revive his career, under the management of his
uncle Steve King. He played 11 times before being offered a one-year
professional contract with Swedish first division side Sundsvall.
Before joining the Swedish club, he said, "I was at Tottenham for
ages but they treated me badly. At the end I thought, 'I don't want
to be here' so I left."
