A midfielder, who signed for Spurs originally as an amateur, but was made a professional and converted to a right sided defender.

Spent most of his time in the Spurs A (Third) Team in the Eastern Counties League and went on to play for Romford, where he won the Southern League title with the Essex club.

My dad, Alan Reed, played for Spurs in their third team between 1956-1962, but is now retired.

He was only a squad player, but was there for the 1961 glory days when the likes of Danny the Great and Dave Mackay were there.

He moved to Romford after that, where he won the Southern League.
