08.03.2009 Tottenham crashed 0-3 to a spirited Fulham side at Leyton Orient FC.

A quiet first half hour of the game was brought to life when Chris Gunter attempted a back header to Ben Alnwick, but it did not reach the keeper, allowing Erik Nevland to get there first.  However, Alnwick clashed with the Fulham striker and as the ball went through Ricardo Rocha kicked it off the line, but the referee had pointed to the spot for a penalty.  Brown stepped up to convert it and give Fulham a 34th minute lead.

Three minutes before the break, it became 2-0 when Giles Barnes scored with a curling free-kick into the top left hand corner of the goal from outside the box.  The deficit was nearly reduced in the remaining time of the first half, when Rocha got in a header at the near post and it was smuggled off the line courtesy of Julian Gray and the post.

Ten minutes into the second half, Alnwick produced a reflex save to keep out Gray's header and in the 68th minute, the woodwork came to Tottenham's rescue with the ball going over after Nevland had dipped a shot from 30 yards out onto the top of the bar.

Spurs almost got back into the match when Fraizer Campbell played in Jamie O'Hara and the midfielder's shot was taken just wide by a deflection.  But it was Fulham who had the last word, wrapping up the game with a third goal in the second minute of added time, with Marsh-Brown heading home Kallio's cross.

10.12.2008 Motspur Park was the venue for this Premier Reserve League match with Fulham, that ended with spoils shared in a 1-1 draw on a hard pitch on a freezing night.

With Ben Alnwick the first keeper called into action, making a good low save to Seol's free-kick from 20 yards out in the 15th minute, Spurs were under pressure from Fulham for a lot of the first half.  On 38 minutes, Andreason headed Kallio's cross goal-wards, but put it the wrong side of the post, while Tottenham's only chance came three minutes before the break, when Yuri Berchiche broke forward from his full back position and unleashed a shot that the keeper just managed to tip wide.

Once more, Alnwick was in early action keeping out Kallio's header low at his left hand post after five minutes and Spurs got back into the action in the 63rd minute, as john Bostock let fly from 25 yards, but his shot went straight at Etheridge.

In the 70th minute, Spurs went behind as a Gera free-kick into the penalty area led to a scramble and a shot was blocked, leaving Alnwick grounded and the ball fell kindly for Briggs to curl it inside the far post to make it 1-0.

David Hutton had the opportunity to equalise immediately, but put through on goal, the goalkeeper thwarted him by saving with his legs.  It was only five minutes before Tottenham did level, when Andros Townsend blocked a ball that bounced into the path of Jon Obika and he steadied himself before firing into the corner of the net from just inside the box.

The game became a bit of a stalemate until two minutes into stoppage time, when Obika struck a fine shot from 20 yards that whistled inches past the post of the Fulham goal.

31.03.2008 A late, late double earned Spurs reserves a win over the Cottagers at Brisbane Road.

Spurs had the early attacks, but Fulham foraged forward as the game approached the 15 minute mark.  Ten minutes later the first save of the match came from Tommy Forecast, who dived to tip around a Litamanen curler from 18 yards out.

Tottenham almost opened the scoring in the 29th minute, with Taarabt causing his marker Cumber all sorts of problems and his low cross was touched towards goal by Simon Dawkins, but blocked to Jacques Maghoma, who skied over the bar from very close range.,

On 37 minutes, Simon Elliott drove a 20-yarder very close to the goal and two minutes later Fulham went into the lead with a penalty, earned by Erik Nevland and scored by Jari Litmanen.  It looked innocent enough as the Norwegian forward and Ricardo Rocha came together in the area as they challenged for a header, but the ref pointed to the spot and the Finn stepped up to stroke the spot-kick past Forecast.   In injury time, Gilberto got in the way of a shot from Christanval to prevent Tottenham going into the break 0-2 down.

Straight after half-time, Tomas Pekhart played in Adel Taarabt, who produced a swerving shot that goalkeeper Brooks-Meade saved at the foot of his post and the Frenchman had another shot, but could only put it wide.  With Spurs attacking, Fulham looked to hit on the break and Seol came inside to lay into the path of Milson, who struck a fierce effort from 20 yards out and Forecast did well to turn it over the top, as it seemed to be deflected on it's way to him.

The Fulham keeper denied Taarabt with a dive at his feet and at the other end, a sliced effort from Elliott found Forecast in a good position to take it comfortably.  With 80 minutes gone, Spurs finally cracked the visitor's defence.  David Hutton was freed on the right wing and he put in a cross, which was deflected up into the air behind Danny Rose, but he threw himself into the air and executed an overhead kick which sent the ball out of Brook-Meade's reach to net the equaliser from close range.

Five minutes later, a short corner routine provided a golden opportunity for Dawkins, who missed the target from inside the six yard box and then play moved to the Spurs end, where Forecast failed to get distance on a punch out and the ball was helped back towards goal by Elliott, but Rocha got back to clear from in front of goal with three minutes remaining.

The game approached added time at the end of the game looking like a draw, but Rocha played the ball out of defence to Taarabt.  Taking the ball down, he ran at Leijer - the defender in front of him, then he hit a low shot past Brooks-Meade as he reached the edge of the area to put Tottenham ahead.  But the game wasn't quite over, as Spurs pushed forward again, with Jake Livermore going through on the keeper, but the save was made and the ball fell invitingly for Dawkins to put the ball into the unguarded net in front of him to round off a 3-1 win.

23.04.2007 A single goal condemned Tottenham to a rare home defeat in the Premier Reserve League South at Broadhall Way.

Spurs lined up with an attacking formation, but despite Andy Barcham and Jamie O'Hara forcing keeper Brooks-Meade into early saves, the team could not get the goal they needed to take the game on.  Forecast conceded a corner in denying Bjorn Runstrom, from which Matthew Briggs' header was cleared from the line by O'Hara.  A similar clearance was made by James from Jake Livermore's looping header to Hallfredsson's corner.

In the 38th minute, James too the ball forward from a deep position and struck a curling 30 yard shot that found the top corner to give the Cottagers the lead.  Taarabt almost stole an equaliser when Briggs stood on the ball, leaving the French midfielder to beat Elliot Omozusi, but not the goalie, who kept the ball out with his legs.

Into the second half, Forecast denied Runstrom again and Brooks-Meade saved from a fierce shot from Taarabt at the other end.  A 20 yard effort from O'Hara did not it the mark and with a twisting run, Lee Barnard made some space for himself to curl a shot wide from six yards out and a last chance went begging.

06.12.2006 Tottenham stayed unbeaten with a difficult draw against Fulham at Motspur Park.

The greasy turf made for a fast paced game, with Andy Barcham taking Charlie Daniels' pass to slip Tottenham ahead with 37 minutes gone, but a lack of concentration cost Spurs three minutes after the break, as Ehui's shot flew off Jamie O'Hara to leave Rob Burch wrong-footed.

Tottenham's passing was a little off during the game, with some good movement off the ball, created opportunities, but failed to put them away.

17.02.1973 A 3-1 win over Fulham Reserves was begun with a Ray Clarke goal from a powerful 35th minute close range shot, seizing on a loose ball after keeper Malcolm Webster had pushed out a Joe Peck effort.

It only took a couple of minutes to double the lead, when Phil Holder drove in a stinging shot, but immediately before the half time whistle, John Conway narrowed Tottenham's lead to 2-1.

With Spurs dominating the second half, it was a little disappointing that there was only one more goal, when Roger Morgan, Clarke and Jimmy Neighbour combined to provide the chance for Chris McGrath to finish.

14.08.1971 Spurs overcame Fulham's offside trap easily to record a 3-0 win at White Hart Lane.

Champions Spurs struggled in the first half although they dominated the game, as Fulham's defensive approach held out until half time.

After the break, Spurs opened the scoring early on and it was a corner on the left wing that produced it. When the ball dropped down in the box, Jimmy Pearce had a shot that was kept out and the rebound was smacked home with interest by the Spurs winger.

After the Cottagers' keeper fumbled a cross and Ray Clarke, who stepped up from the Youth team to replace stomach upset victim Roy Woolcott, reacted quickly to head the ball in for Tottenham's second. Clarke rounded off the scoring with a late goal when Pearce passed to Ray Evans, who beat the offside trap to fire a shot on goal. While the effort was beaten out by the goalie, Clarke was on hand on tuck the rebound away when he hooked the ball home.
