A third minute Ryan Mason penalty conversion followed by a Danny Rose goal after 47 minutes gave Spurs a good lead, but 2008 FA Youth Cup winners City battled back with two goals inside six minutes to draw the scores level.

With another Rose goal on 70 minutes putting Tottenham into a 3-2 lead, it looked like a shock might be on the cards, but once more the Light Blues showed their resilience by hitting back with just two minutes remaining to take a point.
