19.01.1994 Peterborough United took Spurs to a penalty shoot-out to determine this FA Cup Third Round replay at White Hart Lane.

Spurs had gone ahead early on, when Darren Anderton's speculative long range drive was fumbled by keeper Fred Barber and Nicky Barmby was on hand to pounce on the loose ball and netted from close range.  However, battling Posh pulled level with a goal from Ken Charlery soon after and the score stayed that way until the end of extra time.

The penalty shoot out was level pegging until 16 year old Andy Furnell saw his penalty saved by Ian Walker, leaving Steve Sedge ley to power home his spot-kick to take Tottenham through to the Fourth Round.

08.01.1994 London Road hosted a FA Cup Third Round tie against Spurs, who were grateful for a late equaliser to take the game to a replay.

Posh were bottom of Division One, but had the more aggressive approach, pushing Spurs back, but having to wait until halfway through the second half, when Jason Brissett fired the ball past Ian Walker from a narrow angle.

16.10.1968 Spurs edged this League Cup Fourth Round meeting with Fourth Division Peterborough United at the Lane by a single Jimmy Greaves goal.

Stooping to head the ball into the net after Posh keeper Tony Milligan mishandled a corner, Greaves made the breakthrough against a stubborn United side, who thought they had levelled the tie in the 62nd minute, as Peter Thompson ran through to beat Jennings, but the play was pulled back for a handball.
