FULL NAME  :  BRADLEY JAMES ALLEN

Born on 13th September 1971 in Harold Wood, Romford, Essex, England.

Position :  Forward

Height :  1.73m  (5' 8")

Weight :   kg (st lbs)

A member of the Allen dynasty, Bradley was a striker most notably with QPR and Charlton Athletic in his playing days, but joined the Spurs Academy coaching team to work with young players.  He is the son of Les Allen and brother of Clive Allen.

A trainee with QPR, Bradley worked his way up through the ranks and made his first team debut in 1988.

.

Injury hit his time at Grimsby Town, where he had done well in his first season, but they released him and with offers from Brighton & Hove Albion, Bristol Rovers, APOEL Nicosia and Doncaster Rovers, Allen plumped for a move to Peterborough United.  His short term contract was not up for renewal and with Bristol Rovers still interested, he moved to the West Country, but was released at the end of the 2002-03 season.

Bradley trialled with a number of clubs, but signed for non-league Hornchurch, who had received an injection of cash, but that dried up mid-season and he was released along with a number of former league players.  His next stop was Ford United, who quickly changed their name to Redbridge and although Allen score don his debut, the club chose to move on more expensive players in July 2004 and go with youth, so the striker went to Billericay Town on trial.  This did not lead to a contract and Bradley decided to become a PE teacher and then to go into coaching, where he combined working with the Under-15s at Tottenham with work in the media for Sky Sports and BBC Radio London.
