Talented Spanish defender, who joined Spurs at the age of 16 to come through the youth ranks.
A schoolboy at Real Sociedad, he soon left for Athletic Bilbao and was spotted by Spurs and snapped up to play in the Academy. His attacking performances earned him a quick reputation and he was voted Player of the Eurofoot 2007 tournament in Belgium, before breaking into the Reserve side from the Academy team. Another youth tournament winner's medal came in Talence in the spring.
Never a regular in the stiffs (making only six appearances), the attacking defender joined Cheltenham Town on loan for the latter part of the 2008-09 season and did well, but could not prevent them being relegated. Was substituted by manager Martin Allen following a harsh tackle in one match.
During the close season, he joined Real Valladolid on loan, making one appearance for the side, who were relegated at the end of that season. Left Tottenham and he returned to his homeland when released at the end of the 2009-10 season and signed a permanent basis for Real Union - a Spanish Third Division club.
