Young Arsenal defender who was released was signed on a free transfer by Spurs in the summer of 2009, but stayed with the club for only one year before being released.
Originally signed from Northampton Town by Arsenal in the summer of 2007, the defender, who also played in midfield, put in some determined performances, but failed to stand out from the rest of the side. Did make a couple of reserve appearances, but his fitness appeared to be a little lacking. Not offered a professional contract, Anton was released by Arsenal.
Had trials at Fulham and Crystal Palace, but there were stories about knee injuries affecting his play.
Turned down the chance to sign for Spurs to join Arsenal, the youngster who attended Bishops Stopford School in Enfield was given a trial for the Spurs Academy side in the summer of 2009 and then played in the Monthey youth tournament in France and scored as they went on to win the tournament with a 3-0 win over Hajduk Split.
Suffered injury while in the Spurs Academy side and had an in and out season, but looked quick and good on the ball, but at the end of the 2009-2010 season, Tottenham decided not to offer him a new contract and he left in the summer of that year.
