Solid keeper, who came to the Spurs Academy from Arsenal and was signed as a professional in 2007.

Butcher's early career started at Norwich City before he joined the Gunners and then there were trials with Leeds United and Wycombe Wanderers before joining Spurs in pre-season and being signed to the club in 2007.

Entering in the Youth set-up, Lee quickly moved into the reserves and went out on an early loan to AFC Wimbledon,

Had loan spell at Margate, eight games at Grays Athletic in the Blue Square Premier and six games on loan at St. Albans in the Blue Square South in March 2009.  Also played on loan at Leyton Orient during 2009-2010, returning to Brisbane Road on a one year deal following his release by Spurs on 25th May 2010.

Made the first team at Brisbane Road and linked up with former Spurs keeper Kevin Dearden, who is goalkeeping coach at Orient.
