A product of Mossbourne Community Academy, Channing Campbell-Young was a young midfielder who came through the Academy system, but failed to make the senior squads and was released in 2014.
A talented athlete at school, Channing was Hackney cross country and triple jump champion and triple jump champion in all of London. He joined the Under-10 group for training at White Hart Lane and progressed through the age groups, but when he was 18, he was released by the club.
From Spurs, he went to
Bolton Wanderers, where he joined their youth system but
was again released in 2016, but returned to London,
where he had a trial with Queens Park Rangers.
