What Terry Dyson said about ...
... The European Cup-Winners Cup win in 1963 ... 18.09.2008 (Spurs programme)

"You can't describe how we felt afterwards.  All athletes get that buzz, when you've done really well and won.  Those first few minutes in the dressing room afterwards, were amazing, you just felt incredible, brilliant and we sat there knowing what we had just done was special.

People always want to do things first, and people remember those who achieved things first.  It's like us winning the European Cup-Winners Cup - we were the first British team to win a European trophy and people still talk about it now."
