Danny Foster was a strong central defender raised through the youth system, who failed to dislodge any of the more experienced players ahead of him in the queue for the first team.
Formed a good partnership in the middle of the back four with Ronnie Henry in the youth and reserve teams, but had the likes of Ledley King, Anthony Gardner and Jonathan Woodgate, causing him to leave for first team football at Dagenham & Redbridge in the non-league Conference division, but helped them to reach the Football League as Conference champions in 2007.
Was a regular as the Daggers established themselves in the league and pushed their way up the League Two table, but in 2009 Danny was released to allow him to join Brentford, where he had a season at Griffin Park.
A change of management led to Foster being released once more and this time he moved on to join Wycombe Wanderers, who went up to League One at the end of the season as runners-up. On 31st May 2011, Danny signed a new two year deal with the Chairboys.
