FULL NAME : EDWARD JONES Born Finchley, North London, England Eddie Jones was a youth team regular in 1970 at left back and won the FA Youth Cup that year with the club.
Eddie attended Risley Junior School and Belmont Secondary School, later moving to Huxley Secondary School in Edmonton.
Played as a defender for for Edmonton Boys team and trialled for Middlesex.
He had worked for two years as a carpenter before he signed professional for Spurs in early November 1970 having been an amateur and was in the FA Youth Cup winning side of 1970 but went on to be the only ever-present in the South-East Counties League Division 1 side in 1970-71.
After failing to make the first team at Spurs, Eddie went on to play for Millwall. On leaving the game, Jones joined the London Fire Brigade, but he left the brigade through injury. Still married with two children, Eddie lives in Chingford. NICKNAME :
