Defender Lee Kersey joined Spurs as a schoolboy in 1993 and worked his way through the youth system, but did not break through to the senior sides.
As a youngster, Lee went to Bishops Stortford High School and represented East Hertfordshire Schoolboys and also the Hertfordshire County Schools side.
Initially signed on Associated schoolboy forms, Lee was upgraded to Trainee in the summer of 1995 and in 1994-95, he made his first appearance for the Youth team in the South-East Counties Division 1.
When Lee Kersey was released after he failed to break into the Spurs first team, he joined Barnsley on trial and although he returned to White Hart Lane, he was allowed to join Enfield.
The defender did not sign a deal with Enfield, but moved on to sign a contract with Stevenage Borough in December 1999.
Moved to Chesham United in March 2000, but a change in management in 2002, there was a mass exodus of players from the club which saw Kersey move on to Chelmsford City that August. At the start of the following year, Heybridge Swifts signed Lee, where he joined former Spurs defender Brian Statham on loan, which was made permanent.
With his contract with the Swifts expiring at the end of 2003-04, Windsor and Eton moved in for him, but since then, he has played for Maidenhead United, went back to Windsor and Eton in September 2005 and had a game on trial at Aldershot.
Signed for AFC Wimbledon in August 2006.
Went on to play for Boreham Wood and then in December 2010 joined Billericay Town.
