Family still live in Rainham, Essex, but Alex living in digs in Chigwell.

His father Aubrey took him to training and watched every game, being a major influence on his career.

Position is right back, but played left back most last season, as well as every other position except goalkeeper !!

Found adjusting to physical side of training as well as nutritional requirements, leading him to falling asleep after getting home from training for the first two months.

Favourite player as a child was Thierry Henry for his finishing, but nowadays, it is Barcelona full back Dani Alves, as he would like to emulate the attacking input of the Brazilian.

Likes watching Emmanuel Adebayor in training, because of his positive approach and enthusiasm. Always smiles but is always serious and has time to talk to everyone, including the Academy players, who appreciate it.

Lionel Messi is his best player in the world, because he has the ability to be a team player and also an individual who brings magic to his play.

Ultimate ambition is to make it as a professional footballer and play in the World Cup.

Liked possession drills, as they incorporate attacking and defending, with or without the ball.

Doesn't like the warm-up, because it is hard work, although he appreciates why it is necessary.

No other professionals in his family. But his cousin Darren is also at Spurs.

Favourite car : Rolls Royce

Favourite radio station : Choice

Favourite computer game : FIFA

Favourite pre-match meal : Spaghetti Carbonara
