Highlight of his career so far ?
First leg of League Cup semi-final 1972 away to Wolverhampton Wanderers – won 2-1

Away to Crystal Palace ahead of the League Cup final, Terry broke his right leg and missed out on a Wembley appearance.

Disappointment – Scored in League Cup semi-final of 1971-72. But he handled in the box later on in the game to give Chelsea a penalty that gave them a 3-2 win.
“I had scored and was having a good game until the penalty in the closing minutes.”

Lived in East Dulwich.

Previously worked in Smithfield meat market. That meant waking up at 04:30, so he appreciates his current profession.
“Life as a professional footballer is fabulous, especially after humping meat about. Mind you, they're a great crowd to work with at Smithfield and I still keep in touch with a lot of my old work-mates there.”

Enjoys a game of tennis and has tried a game of golf.
