Horace Woodward served Spurs for nearly ten years as a staunch centre-half.
Horace came through junior ranks in the pre-war years and signed as a professional when he was demobbed from the Royal Navy.
Making his debut in the 1946-47 season, he went on to make 63 appearances in league for Spurs.
Asked to leave in 1949 and
joined Queens Park Rangers, before going on to play for
Tonbridge, Walsall and Stourbridge.
