Young midfielder who came through the Spurs youth set-up, Simon Wormull moved around to a number of clubs after Spurs to try and establish himself in their first teams.
Played for a number of league and non-league clubs including Brentford, Brighton, Dover, Rushden and Diamonds, Stevenage Borough and Crawley, where he was caretaker manager in 2005, before joining Lewes and then moving to neighbouring Eastbourne Borough.
Left Eastbourne Borough
on 12th June 2009 by mutual consent. Later that
month Simon signed for Farnborough Town, later returned
to Lewes and then in December 2010 linked up with Three
Bridges, while still managing the youth team at Lewes.
In 2012, his duties at Lewes took over from his playing
role and he was asked to step in to take charge while
manager Steve King was suspended. Following King's
departure from the Sussex club, Simon was put in
permanent charge in April 2012.
