Ex-Spurs All Stars played v Maccabi Association, London at the Maccabi Stadium, Hall Way, Hendon on Sunday 19th September (kick off 15:00) with entry by programme costing 5 shillings (25p).  Playing for the John White Memorial Trophy.
Ted Ditchburn, Horace Woodward, Ron Burgess, Danny Blanchflower, Harry Clarke, Les Bennett, Tommy Harmer, Len Duquemin, Eddie Baily and Les Stevens were all down to take part.
For S.P.A.R.K.S., an association for sportsmen who pass the money onto the fund for poliomyelitis and other crippling diseases.

08.10.1965

Dave Mackay was honoured by the Anglo-American Sporting Club at the Hilton Hotel on Monday 8th October 1965 being given the award of Sportsman of the Year, the first footballer to receive such a merit.

February 1966

Jimmy Greaves presented with silver salver for services to football on 21.02.1966 at Anglo-American Sporting Club by Rear Admiral Sir Anthony Miers.

Evening Standard London 5-a-side Tournament (Wembley)

Spurs beat Brentford 4-1 in the First Round, with Derek Possee scoring twice and Parkinson and Neil Johnson getting one each.
They met Arsenal in the Second Round and lost out 0-2.

Ex-Spurs All Star XI played Tic Tacs XI at the Henry Barrass stadium, Edmonton at 15:30 to raise money for Old Age Pensioners in the Borough of Edmonton.

In the Second Round of the tournament, John Pratt scored just before the end of the match against Manchester City.  Spurs beat Derby County in the semi-final and went on to beat Ipswich Town in the final on penalties.

The Spurs squad consisted of Barry Daines, Terry Naylor, John Pratt, Jimmy Pearce, Phil Holder and Jimmy Neighbour.
