Football Combination. Only a deflected David Jenkins shot halfway through the second half separated the teams and it was disappointing that more goals did not come Tottenham's way. Argyle keeper Jim Furnell twice made saves at point blank range from Jimmy Pearce in the first half, then in the second 45 minutes, Peter Collins shot over the bar from close range and Roy Woolcott headed a chance wide.
