TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 2011/12 SEASON REVIEW DVD

Produced by ILC Media

This DVD review of the 2011-12 reminds us what a decent campaign it was ... and how it all ended with disappointment.

But there was much to be happy about ... the emergence of Kyle Walker, the last flowering of Luka Modric in a Spurs shirt and the pace and power of Gareth Bale.

Maybe that is why they are all on the front of the cover of the DVD.

The DVD itself is packed with goals and it was quite refreshing to see how we performed last season, but with the benefit of hindsight (a wonderful thing only available as an extra on DVDs !!) some of Harry Redknapp's comments perhaps shed a little light in on the decision that was made to replace him.

While overall a good round up of Tottenham's last campaign, there are a couple of quibbles I have, with the commentary coming from a number of sources, you go from the partisan stylings of Daniel Wynne to the techno-mumbo-jumbo of David Pleat and the producers have not dealt with controversy very well.  Considering that some parts of our season were dictated by the whims of Chris Foy and Martin Atkinson, little time is spent examining their faults.

A good addition to the Spurs DVD library collection and it is made better when you consider that to will be a lasting reminder of how good VDV was.

Available from all good DVD sellers.
